By the Homeworld

Tali'Zorah nar Rayya fanart! This is my third fanart of Tali, and personally, I
think this is the best one lol The background is inspired by her homeworld
even though there is not much terrain shown in this piece. The lighting is definitely inspired, plus it makes a beautiful sunset I love sunsets o_o

Drawing Tali
Tali is from the Mass Effect game series, and she is my favorite character ^^
I really enjoyed drawing her in her Admiral suit. It has to be one of my favorite
outfit designs she has, along with her usual casual suit. I made Tali a bit longer
than she really is since I tend to draw humans (or in this case, humanoid)
with longer limbs. It's sort of my style when I draw people haha ^^ Her position
is not as awkward as the first first fanart I dew of her, but it seems a bit leaned
backwards XD Her location is somewhere atop a hilly cliff side.
The highlights along her waists and sides seem to make her look skinnier
than she is XD whoops XD

Theme
The theme for this fanart is along the lines of searching for the ones you care
about after a huge conflict. In this piece, Tali is using her drone to help locate
her squadmates and survivors. She is armed with her trusty shotgun in case if
there are enemies nearby. The metal looking structures in the background are
geth and reaper inspired. I made it look somewhat geth and somewhat reaperish
in appearance. It's basically a destroyed vessel that crashed and Tali is searching
for survivors. The furthest structure is colossal in size, but the distance makes is
small. Basically, this piece can be interpreted many ways ^^ Let the imagination
flow!

Overview
This has to be the longest piece I have worked on XD Drawing and coloring
Tali did not take the longest but rather the background plus fixing the background
after it wasnt satisfying at first. I kept working at the background until I finally
felt it complete. Those little details here and there are one of the most time
consuming things you can come across lol Especially adding all the thin lights that
shine on the figure as well as the objects around it ^^ I did have alot of fun with
this fanart, and really enjoyed working every hour on it

This fanart took approximately 22 hours to do. I think I worked on it for 4 days
at random times...plus staying up to stop at a stopping point lol because my
hand wont stop drawing!
